Responsible gaming

JOA makes every effort to protect the players. Fully aware of the issues that are at stake, JOA has set up and implemented a prevention and safeguarding program in all its casinos to help players whose gambling is problematic or excessive.

INTERNAL ORGANISATION :

Our teams are trained in responsible gambling

Groupe JOA has an internal "responsible gambling division": every staff member of this division is trained in responsible gambling awareness concerning gambling practice/addiction issues. At the operational level our "mission responsible" coaches are there to help the player should he/she be confronted to such a problem. They will listen to the player confidentially and inform him/her of the various solutions that are available.

The "mission responsible" coaches are the players'excessive gambling referents. They can offer a framework for gambling practice support (ranging from temporary self-exclusion to more flexible arrangements, such as refusal to accept the player's cheques) and give guidance on specialised external resources that can be consulted for help upon request. Feel free to talk to these referents, every dialogue can be beneficial!

Groupe JOA has been actively involved in strengthening player protection since 2005.

ONLINE BETTING AND RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING

The JOA Online platform provides its players with a range of risk-reduction measures, from temporary self-exclusion, to the use of moderating tools that can be used to set maximum limits on their spending-money supply and betting amounts. The website also offers a tool that helps to determine your game budget so that you can control its expenditures at all times. Importantly, all of these measures are very easy to implement!

Setting up a safeguarding framework and a budget limit are two positive steps forward for you to remain in control and monitor your gambling practice; after all, isn't that every player's ambition?
