Located in the heart of the casinos, "Le Comptoir JOA" restaurants distinguish themselves by their cutting-edge design and their contemporary decor. The Group has invested to create a state-of-the-art offer that is in tune with the times.
As far as cuisine is concerned, "Le Comptoir JOA-Bistro Moderne" concept is based on traditional French bistro dishes which are reinterpreted skilfully by each of our JOA restaurant Chefs.
Two types of dishes supplement the restaurant menu:
- "Signature dishes": created by the JOA Chef Committee and prepared in the restaurant kitchens by following dedicated technical sheets; the signature dishes change every three months and are available in all "Le Comptoir JOA" restaurants.
- "L'Ardoise": seasonal local culinary specialties that are prepared according to the Chef's inclinations and inspirations, as well as on the fresh market produce availability. The famous Crema Catalana dessert is seasonally on the menu at Le Comptoir JOA Le Boulou, just as is the "bras de gitan" dessert at Le Comptoir JOA St Cyprien.
The restaurants are open for lunch and dinner. Each day of the week the menu offers a different starter, main course, and dessert, with a choice of fish, meat, and mouth-watering desserts.
Complemented by a fine selection of bottles from great French wine estates, "Le Comptoir JOA meals" offer a convivial and gourmet atmosphere that is perfect either for a lunch with friends or for a romantic dinner.
Special events such as shows, theme parties, or large-scale meals can be arranged upon request.
"Le Comptoir JOA" concept was awarded at the 2017 Sirha Professional Trade Show, adding "a new page to the Bar story".
"Le Bar des Sports"
In 2017 Groupe JOA introduced its new concept for "Le Bar des Sports" (Sports Bar).
This new convivial and connected venue marks a milestone in the Group's strategy. This concept-bar is dedicated to sports betting, is tailored to sports enthusiasts, and aims to reproduce the "Le Comptoir JOA" success story.
Catering that prioritises fresh products!
"Le Bar des Sport" doors are open to all, 7 days a week. The venue offers customers the means to follow their favourite sporting events on a wall of giant screens in a live 100% digital atmosphere. Throughout the day and evening, the bar offers a snack menu based on fresh products which are all cooked and prepared on site (daily specials, sandwiches, salads, etc.) The area is 100% modulable; the atmosphere can be adapted according to the attendance and to the prevailing sports programming. "Le Bar de Sports" is perfectly fit for the organisation of special events and can host sports clubs events, boxing galas, or bespoke private events.
